Direct-Indirect - Imperative Sentences
आइए Imperative Sentences से संबंधित नियम याद करते हैं:
Rule-10 Imperative वाक्यों में वाक्य के भाव के अनुसार 'said to' को हटाकर 'requested, advised, warned, ordered, आदि लिखते हैं
तथा Quoma और Inverted Quomas (, & "...") को हटाकर 'that' के स्थान पर 'to' का प्रयोग करते हैं।
Imperative के नेगेटिव वाक्यों में 'Do not' को हटाकर 'Not to' का प्रयोग करते हैं।

| शिक्षक ने प्रशांत से कहा, "बेंच पर खड़े हो जाओ।" | शिक्षक ने प्रशांत को बेंच पर खड़े होने का आदेश दिया। |
| Manjula said to Shantur, "Do not tell a lie." | Manjula advised Shantur not to tell a lie. |
| मंजुला ने शान्तुर से कहा, "झूठ मत बोलो।" | मंजुला ने शान्तुर को झूठ न बोलने की सलाह दी। |
| She said to her boss, "Please give me two days off." | She requested her boss to give her two days off. |
| उसने अपने बॉस से कहा, "कृपया मुझे दो दिन की छुट्टी दें।" | उसने अपने बॉस से दो दिन का अवकाश देने का अनुरोध किया। |
| The Doctor said to the patient, "Do not smoke." | The Doctor advised the patient not to smoke. |
| डॉक्टर ने मरीज से कहा, "धूम्रपान मत करो।" | डॉक्टर ने मरीज को धूम्रपान न करने की सलाह दी। |
| Riju said to Kavita, "Please bring my Guitar." | Riju requested Kavita to bring his Guitar. |
| रिजु ने कविता से कहा, "कृपया मेरा गिटार ले आओ।" | रिजु ने कविता से अपने गिटार लाने का अनुरोध किया। |

| माली ने वेदिका से कहा, "फूल मत तोड़ना" | माली ने वेदिका को फूल नहीं तोड़ने का आदेश दिया। |
| The judge said to the police, "Arrest him immediately." | The judge ordered the police to arrest him immediately. |
| न्यायाधीश ने पुलिस से कहा, "उसे तुरंत गिरफ्तार करें।" | न्यायाधीश ने पुलिस को उसे तुरंत गिरफ्तार करने का आदेश दिया। |
| Kavita said to her Baba, "Take medicines regularly." | Kavita requested her Baba to take medicines regularly. |
| कविता ने अपने बाबा से कहा, "नियमित रूप से दवाइयाँ लें।" | कविता ने अपने बाबा से नियमित रूप से दवा लेने का अनुरोध किया। |
| You said to her, "Give me your notes." | You requested her to give you her notes. |
| आपने उससे कहा, "मुझे अपने नोट दे दो।" | आपने उससे अपने नोट्स देने का अनुरोध किया। |
| Kanchan said to me, "Take care of your health." | Kanchan advised me to take care of my health. |
| कंचन ने मुझसे कहा, "अपनी सेहत का ख्याल रखना।" | कंचन ने मुझे मेरी सेहत का ख्याल रखने की सलाह दी। |
