W-Family Question Words - An Overview

Normal rule

Standard rule For making Interrogative sentence with W-family words is very simple, and its steps are given hereunder:

W-फ़ैमिली के इंटेरोगेटिव वाक्य बनाने का साधारण नियम बहुत सरल है और इसके स्टेप्स नीचे दिए गए हैं:

Step-1	सबसे पहले वाक्य को सिंपल टेन्स में बनाओ,	First, you make a simple sentence,
Step-2	फिर उसे उस वाक्य के टेन्स के नियम के अनुसार इंटेरोगेटिव फोर्म में कन्वर्ट करो,	then convert it to interrogative form as per the rule of the Tense of the sentence,
Step-3	फिर उसके आरंभ में W-फ़ैमिली का कोई शब्द लगाओ।	then put W-family word at the beginning of the sentence.
Note	W-फ़ैमिली वर्ड का प्रयोग वाक्य के बीच में भी होता है।	The word of W-family can come in the middle of the sentence also.

Rule : W-family word + Helping Verb + Subject + Remaining part as per Tense of the Question + ?

You are writing.	Are you writing?	What are you writing?
आप लिख रहे हैं।	क्या आप लिख रहे हैं?	आप क्या लिख रहे हैं?
You can do this work.	Can you do this work?	Who can do this work?
आप यह काम कर सकते हैं	क्या आप यह काम कर सकते हैं?	यह काम कौन कर सकता है?
He is not at home.	Is he not at home?	Why is he not at home?
वह घर पर नहीं है।	क्या वह घर पर नहीं है?	वह घर पर क्यों नहीं है?
