Pronunciation of Vowel Letter A | Rules with Examples

स्वर 'a' का दिर्ध 'ऐ ' उच्चारण वाले शब्द - Long sound of 'a' as 'a-e'

रूल न. 6 का सन्दर्भ लीजिए : जब किसी शब्द में दो या दो से अधिक vowel हो और शब्द के अंत में vowel 'e' हो तब अंतिम vowel 'e' silent रहता है और Vowel 'e' से पहले आए व्यंजन से पहले वाले Vowel का उच्चारण लम्बा होता है। अंतिम Vowel 'e' से पहले आए व्यंजन से पहले वाला स्वर यदि 'a' है तो उच्चारण 'ऐ' होता है। 

Refer the Rule No 6 : When a word has two or more vowel and vowel 'e' at the end of the word, the last vowel 'e' remains silent, and the pronunciation of vowel preceding the consonant preceding vowel 'e' is long. If the vowel before the last Vowel 'e' is 'a' the pronunciation is long 'a' as 'a-e'.

रूल न.11 का भी सन्दर्भ लीजिए : व्यंजन 'Y' अँग्रेज़ी भाषा में Vowel की तरह भी कार्य करता है।
जब किसी शब्द के आख़िर में 'Y' हो उससे तुरंत पहले Vowel 'a' हो तो 'Y' का उच्चारण साइलेंट रहता है और 'a' का उच्चारण long होता है।

When Vowel 'a' is immediately preceded by 'Y' at the end of a word, 'Y' remains silent and 'a' is pronounced long.
Now let's keep the rules in mind and listen to and read aloud the following words with long vowel sounds of 'a':-

अब हम नियमों को ध्यान में रखते हैं और 'a' की लंबी स्वर ध्वनियों के साथ निम्नलिखित शब्दों को सुनते हैं और ज़ोर से पढ़ते हैं:

स्वर 'a' का 'आ ' उच्चारण वाले शब्द - 'aa' sound of Vowel 'a' .

यहां रूल न.2 का सन्दर्भ लीजिए। आमतौर पर जब किसी शब्द में व्यंजन 'R' और 'S' से पहले Vowel 'a' आता है और व्यंजन 'R' व 'S' के बाद कोई Vowel ना हो तब स्वर 'a' का उच्चारण 'आ' होता है। 

Rule No. 2, let's refer to it : Usually when Vowel 'a' comes before consonants 'R' & 'S' and no vowel follows after 'R' & 'S', then the Vowel 'a' sounds like 'aa'
It is a long sound of 'a' which sounds like double 'aa'. To understand it better we have to practice by clicking on the following words Listen to them and speak them out loud.
