3. Adverbs of Time

कभी-कभी जब हमें समय पर अतिरिक्त या अधिक जोर देने की आवश्यकता होती है, तो हम वाक्य की शुरुआत में Adverbs of Time का उपयोग करते हैं।

Sometimes when we need to put extra or more emphasis on time, then we use the Adverbs of Time at the beginning of the sentence.

Examples:-

कभी-कभी, वह सोचती है कि क्या उसे फिर से काम करना शुरू कर देना चाहिए। (वह कब सोचती है? कभी-कभी)	Sometimes, she wonders if she should start working again. (When does she wonder? Sometimes)	Sometimes
थोड़े दिनों से मेरा कुत्ता बहुत रूं रूं कर रहा है।	Lately, my dog is whimpering a lot.	Lately
अब वह हिंदी सीखने के लिए बहुत मेहनत कर रहा है।	Now he is trying very hard to learn Hindi.	Now
पिछले हफ्ते से मैंने इस चित्रकला पर काम करना शुरू कर दिया।	Last week onwards I started working on this painting.	Last week

जब हमें एक वाक्य में दो से अधिक adverbs का उपयोग करना होता है, तो हमें निम्नलिखित प्रश्न क्रम को ध्यान में रखना चाहिए: कब तक? कितनी बार? और कब?

When we have to use more than two adverbs in a sentence, we should keep the following question order in mind: How long? How often? And When?

Examples:-

शिवम गोवर्धन पर्वत चार दिन (कितने दिन) के लिए, हर महीने (कितनी बार) इस वर्ष (कब) गए थे।	Shivam went to Govardhan parvat for four days (how long) every month (how often) this year (when).
स्कूल पत्रिका 1990 के बाद के कुछ सालों के दौरान, केवल दो साल के लिए, महीने में दो बार प्रकाशित हुई थी।	The school magazine was published only for two years, twice a month during the 1990s.
हमारी वाशिंग मशीन छह महीनों से ठीक से काम नहीं कर रही है, इसकी तीन बार मरम्मत की गई है पिछले तीन महीनों में	Our washing machine hasn’t been working properly for six months; it has been repaired thrice in the last three months
