Condition Type-3
कंडीशन टाइप-2 वाक्यों में वर्तमान समय में कल्पना थी और हालत टाइप-3 में व्यक्ति कुछ पिछली घटनाओं पर पश्चाताप या विचार करने के लिए कल्पना करता है: "अगर मैंने ऐसा किया होता, तो ऐसा होता या हो सकता था"।
Condition Type-2 sentences were imagination at the present time and in Condition Type-3 sentences, the person imagines to repent or ponder over some past event: "If I had done this, it would have or could have happened".
There are three parts of the Condition Type-3 sentences: (1) State of Being (2) State of Possession (3) Action
(1) State of Being...Contemplation...अगर ऐसा होता तो वैसा हो चुका होता / हो सकता था
Rule: [If + Subject + Had + Been (3rd form of Be) + Object], [Subject + Would/Could have + Verb (3rd form) + Object]
Let's look at the examples:
| अगर मैं उस दिन उनके घर पर होता, तो मैं उन्हें नौकरी देने की पेशकश कर चुका होता। | If I had been at his home on that day, I would have offered him a job. |
| यदि मैं 2019 में प्रबंधक होता, तो मैं एक विदेशी असाइनमेंट के लिए आवेदन कर सकता था। | If I had been the Manager in 2019, I could have applied for a foreign assignment. |
| अगर वह मेरी मेहमान होती, तो हमें उसकी फिल्म में काम करने का मौका मिल चुका होता। | If she had been my guest, we would have got an opportunity to work in her film. |
| अगर उस दिन वह उसके साथ होता, तो उसे भी गिरफ्तार कर लिया जाता। | If he had been with her that day, he would have been arrested as well. |
| यदि वह उस दिन बीमार नहीं होती, तो उसे प्रथम पुरस्कार मिलता। | If she had not been sick on that day, she would have got the first prize. |
(2) State of Possession...Contemplation...अगर मेरे पास ये होता तो मैं वो कर चुका होता या कर सकता था
Rule: [If + Subject + Had + Had (3rd form of Has/Have) + Object], [Subject + Would/Could have + Verb (3rd form) + Object]
Let's look at the examples:
| अगर मेरे पास 2010 में पर्याप्त पैसा होता तो मैं अपना पचासवां जन्मदिन किसी फाइव स्टार होटल में मनाता। | If I had had enough money in 2010, I would have celebrated my fiftieth birthday in a five-star hotel. |
| यदि उस दिन मेरे पास अतिरिक्त पैसे होते, तो मैं उस स्कूल को दान कर चुका होता। | If I had had spare money on that day, I would have donated to that school. |
| अगर अव्यन के पास मोबाइल होता तो वह मुझे तुरंत सूचित कर सकता था। | If Avyan had had a mobile, he could have informed me immediately. |
| यदि कविता के पास काव्या का बैग होता, तो काव्या उनके हाथ से छीन चुकी होती। | If Kavita had had Kavya's bag, Kavya would have snatched from her hand. |
Note: कंडीशन टाइप-2: केवल वर्तमान समय में कल्पना करता है कि अगर मेरे पास पैसा होता, तो मैं इसे दान कर देता, जबकि, कंडीशन टाइप-3 में, कोई व्यक्ति पिछली घटनाओं को ध्यान में रखते हुए सोचता है / पछताता है / कल्पना करता है, कि अगर मेरे पास उस समय पैसा होता तो मैं दान कर चुका होता. इस अंतर के साथ, वाक्य बनाने का नियम बदल जाता है।
Condition Type-2: Just imagines in present time that if I had money, I would donate it, whereas, in Condition Type-3, someone thinks / regrets / imagines keeping in mind the past events, that if I had money at that time, I would have donated. With this difference, the rule for making sentences changes.
