Six Important words - go, do, run, point, mean & set

Run (Run-ran-run)

नल चालू है।	Tap is running.
पानी बह रहा है।	Water is running.
आजकल रेल गाड़ी बिजली से चलती है।	Nowadays, the train runs with electricity.
पोल्युशन चेक के लिये इंजन चालू रखिये।	Keep the engine running for pollution check.
कार के इंजन को लाल बत्ती पर चालू न रखें।	Do not keep the car engine running on the red light.
मैं यह मशीन चलाना नही जानता हूँ।	I do not know how to run this machine.
वह पैसे के पीछे दौड़ रहा है।	He is running behind money.
वह अपनी जिम्मेदारियों से भाग गया।	He ran away from his responsibilities.
उसकी नाक हमेशा ठंड में बहती है।	His nose always runs in the cold.
आप केमिस्ट की दुकान चलाने के लिए योग्य हैं।	You are qualified to run a chemist shop.
उसकी एक झलक पाने के लिए वह उसके घर के आसपास घूम रहा है।	He is running around her house to catch a glimpse of her.
अस्वस्थ जीवनशैली ने उन्हें इन दिनों डॉक्टरों के इर्द-गिर्द दौड़ा दिया है।	Unhealthy lifestyle has made him run around doctors these days.

Set (Set-set-set)

सूर्य पश्चिम में अस्त होता है।	The sun sets in the west.
माता पिता को अच्छा उदाहरण रखना चाहिये।	Parents should set a good example.
मैंने एक आदर्श जीवन जी कर एक मिसाल कायम की है।	I have set an example by living an ideal life.
मुझे बस इतना करना था कि मैं अपने लक्ष्य पर अपना ध्यान लगाऊं।	All I had to do was set my mind on my target.
Reliance ग्रुप ने जयपुर में नई दुकान खोली है।	Reliance group has set up a new shop in Jaipur.
सीरियल CID ने नया कीर्तिमान स्थापित किया है।	Serial CID has set up a new record.
मैंने अपनी घड़ी मेट्रो के समय के अनुसार नियत कर ली है।	I have set my watch according to the time of the metro.
क्या आपने अपना यात्रा कार्यक्रम निर्धारित किया है?	Have you set your itinerary?
मुझे विश्वास है कि उसने उसे अभी तक ठीक कर दिया होगा।	I believe she would have set him right by now.
मुख्य द्वार के सामने सीढ़ियों के दो सेट हैं।	There are two sets of stairs in front of the main gate.
