Questions of W-family Words

W-परिवार में शब्द शामिल हैं - What, Which, Where, When, Why, How, Who, Whom, Whose. W- परिवार के शब्दों से शुरू होने वाले प्रश्नों को W- परिवार के प्रश्न कहा जाता है। W-परिवार के प्रश्न तब किए जाते हैं जब प्रश्नकर्ता कुछ जानकारी चाहता है। साधारण हां / नहीं द्वारा w-परिवार के सवालों का जवाब देना संभव नहीं है।

The W-family includes the word - What, Which, Where, When, Why, How, Who, Whom, Whose. Questions that begin with W-family words are called W-family type questions. Questions of W-family are framed when the questioner wants some information. It is not possible to answer the w-family questions by the simple yes/no.

Normal rule

Standard rule For making Interrogative sentence with W-family words is very simple, and its steps are given hereunder:

W-फ़ैमिली के इंटेरोगेटिव वाक्य बनाने का साधारण नियम बहुत सरल है और इसके स्टेप्स नीचे दिए गए हैं:

Step-1	सबसे पहले वाक्य को सिंपल टेन्स में बनाओ,	First, you make a simple sentence,
Step-2	फिर उसे उस वाक्य के टेन्स के नियम के अनुसार इंटेरोगेटिव फोर्म में कन्वर्ट करो,	then convert it to interrogative form as per the rule of the Tense of the sentence,
Step-3	फिर उसके आरंभ में W-फ़ैमिली का कोई शब्द लगाओ।	then put W-family word at the beginning of the sentence.
Note	W-फ़ैमिली वर्ड का प्रयोग वाक्य के बीच में भी होता है।	The word of W-family can come in the middle of the sentence also.

Rule : W-family word + Helping Verb + Subject + Remaining part as per Tense of the Question + ? 

Let's look at the examples:

आप लंदन गए।	You went to London
क्या आप लंदन गए?	Did you go to London?
आप लंदन कब गए?	When did you go to London?
आप लंदन क्यों गए?	Why did you go to London?
आप लंदन कैसे गए?	How did you go to London?
