Past Continuous Tense Negative की हिन्दी में पहचान: हिन्दी में Past Continuous Tense की पहचान है वाक्य के अन्त में 'रहा था', 'रही थी', 'रहे थे' का प्रयोग होता है। भूतकाल निरंतर काल का उपयोग उस क्रिया को व्यक्त करने के लिए किया जाता है जो भूतकाल के समय में जारी थी और वाक्य के बीच में 'नही' का प्रयोग आवश्यक है। ।
नकारात्मक वाक्य - हम सहायक क्रिया 'Was /Were' और मुख्य क्रिया के बीच 'Not' जोड़ते हैं और 'Ing' को मुख्य क्रिया की फर्स्ट फॉर्म के साथ जोड़ा जाता है।

Past Continuous Tense is used to express an action that was continuing in the past.
Negative sentence - 'Not' is added just before 'Verb' and 'Ing' is added with the first form of the main verb.

Rule of Past Continuous Tens - Negative

Type of Sentence	Rule
Negative	Subject + Was/Were + Not + Verb (Ist form) + Ing + Object + (.)

Look at these sentences:

रविवार सुबह बारिश नहीं हो रही थी।	It was not raining on Sunday morning.
वह मेरी मदद नहीं कर रहा था।	He was not helping me.
शाका अपनी किताब नही पढ़ रहा था।	Shaka was not reading his book.
माली पौधों को पानी नही दे रहा था।	The gardener was not watering the plants.
वह रात में खर्राटे ले रहा था।	He was snoring at night.
मैं उसे देख रहा था।	I was watching him.
वे फुटबॉल खेल रहे थे।	They were playing football.
वह उसके लिए दूध की बोतल देख रही थी।	She was looking milk bottle for her.
लोग उस पाखंडी के खिलाफ नारे नहीं लगा रहे थे?	The people were not raising slogans against that hypocrite?
बैल सड़क पर दूसरे बैल से लड़ रहा था।	The bull was fighting with another bull on the road.
