Past Perfect Tense Negative की हिन्दी में पहचान:
वाक्य के अन्त में 'आया था', 'गया था', 'चुका था', 'चुकी थी', 'चुके थे' आदि का प्रयोग होता है। हम भूतकाल की किसी क्रिया या स्थिति के बारे में बात करने के लिए Past Perfect Tense का उपयोग करते हैं जो किसी भी अन्य
भूतकाल की स्थिति या गतिविधि से पहले हुई हो, या अतीत में किसी विशेष समय से पहले हुई हो और वाक्य के बीच में 'नही' का प्रयोग आवश्यक है। यह आमतौर पर एक वाक्य में दो भूतकाल की गतिविधियों या स्थितियों के लिए उपयोग किया जाता है
जहां पहली गतिविधि के अंत के बाद दूसरी गतिविधि होती है।
नकारात्मक वाक्य - 'Not' को हेल्पिंग वर्ब -Had के बाद और वर्ब की तीसरी फॉर्म से पहले लगाते हैं।
We use the past perfect tense to talk about an action or situation in the past that occurred before any other past
situation or activity, or occurred before at a particular time in the past. It is commonly used for two past activities
or situations in a sentence where the second activity takes place after the end of the first activity.
Negative sentence - 'Not' is added after helping verb-'Had' and before '3rd form of Verb'.
Rule of Past Perfect Tense - Negative

Look at these sentences:
| हमने पहले बाघ नहीं देखा था। | We had not seen the tiger before. |
| वे दो साल तक पंजाब में नहीं रहे थे। | They had not lived in Punjab for two years. |
| मैं उसे लंबे समय से नहीं जानता था। | I had not known her for a long time. |
| जब तक उन्होंने सहयोग किया तब तक हमने कोई अनुचित मांग नहीं की थी। | We had not demanded any unjustified demand till he cooperated. |
| मेरे ग्रीन सिग्नल देने से पहले उसने हमारी योजना के बारे में किसी को नहीं बताया था। | She had not told anyone about our plan before I gave a green signal. |
| हमारे पहुंचने से पहले अस्पताल ने उसे छुट्टी नहीं दी थी। | The hospital had not discharged him before we reached. |
| हमने पहले इटालियन भोजन नहीं चखा था। | We had not tasted Italian food before. |
