Position of Adverbs
क्रियाविशेषणों की स्थिति एक महत्वपूर्ण विषय है। एक वाक्य में क्रियाविशेषण की स्थिति में अधिकतम सामान्य त्रुटि होती है। आइए Adverbs की सही स्थिति को समझने के लिए एक नज़र डालें:
Position of Adverbs is a crucial topic. The maximum common error takes place in positioning the adverbs in a sentence. Let's take a look to understand the correct positioning of Adverbs:
Adverb of Manner | |
In case there is no object: Subject + Main verb + Adverb of Manner | She walks slowly. She speaks softly. |
In case there is object: Subject + Main verb + Object + Adverb of Manner | She speaks English fluently. |
Adverb of Time | |
In case there is no object: Subject + Main verb + Adverb of Time | He works today. |
In case there is object: Subject + Main verb + Object + Adverb of Time | We saw a movie yesterday. |
Adverb of Frequency | |
It always comes before main verb: Subject + Helping Verb (if any) + Adverb of Frequency + Main verb | I often take a nap. |
Adverb of Place | |
In case there is no object: Subject + Main verb + Adverb of Manner | She came here. |
In case there is object: Subject + Main verb + Object + Adverb of Manner | He is making a table outside. |
Adverb of Degree | |
It comes before the adjective, it modifies: Adeverb of Degree + Adjective | Our team is quite strong. |
When two or more than two types of Adverbs come in a sentence | |
Rule: MPT = >> Write first - Adverb of Manner - How? >> Then write - Adverb of Place - When? >> and Then write - Adverb of Time - Where?. | He plays cricket seriously in the ground everyday. She delivered speech vehemently in the Parliament House yesterday. |
Adverbs: seriously, vehemently - Adverb of Manner, in the ground, in the Parliament House - Adverb of Place - everyday, yesterday - Adverb of Time. Point to Remember: 'MPT' is in alphabetical order. |
