Past Perfect Continuous Tense - Negative की हिन्दी में पहचान: वाक्य के अन्त में 'रहा था', 'रही थी', 'रहे थे' का प्रयोग होता है और
वाक्य के बीच में 'नही' का प्रयोग आवश्यक है। Past Perfect Continuous Tense का उपयोग उस कार्य को व्यक्त करने के लिए किया जाता है जो भूतकाल में शुरु हुआ था और भूतकाल के एक निश्चित समय तक जारी रहा था।
इसमें लगातार समय का प्रयोग होता है ।
नकारात्मक वाक्य - 'Not' को 'Had' तथा 'Been' के बीच में लगाते है, 'Ing' को मुख्य क्रिया की फर्स्ट फॉर्म के साथ जोड़ते हैं और इसमें लगातार समय को
दर्शाने के लिए 'since/for' का उपयोग करते हैं।
Past Perfect Continuous Tense is used to express work that began in the past and continued for a certain time in
the past. Continuous time must come in the sentence.
Negative sentence - 'Not' is added between 'Had' and 'Been',
'Ing' is added with the first form of the verb and 'since/for' is used to denote continuous time.
Rule of Past Perfect Continuous Tense - Negative

Look at these sentences:
| वे लड़कियां सुबह से बगीचे में रस्सियों से नहीं खेल रही थीं। | Those girls had not been playing with ropes in the garden since morning. |
| वह अपनी नौकरानी को जून के बाद से रसोई के अंदर आने के लिए प्रतिबंधित नहीं कर रही थी। | She had not been restricting her maid to come inside the kitchen since June. |
| वह कुछ महीनों से समय पर अपनी दवा नहीं ले रही थी। | She had not been taking her medication on time for a few months. |
| वह कल से महत्वपूर्ण पाठों को दोहरा नहीं रहा था। | He had not been revising important lessons since yesterday. |
| वह पिछले सात साल से घर पर नहीं रह रहा था। | He had not been staying at home for the last seven years. |
| खरगोश शुरू से ही हिरण के लिए प्रार्थना नहीं कर रहा था। | The rabbit had not been praying for the deer since beginning. |
| वह पिछले दो घंटे से मेरा इंतजार नहीं कर रहा था। | He had not been waiting for me for the last two hours. |
| वह सुबह से हर किसी पर चिल्ला नहीं रहा था। | He had not been shouting at everyone since morning. |
| वह दो घंटे से नारेबाजी नहीं कर रहा था। | He had not been raising slogans vehemently for two hours. |
| महिला पिछले आधे घंटे से चिल्ला नहीं रही थी। | The lady had not been screaming for the last half an hour. |
| वह सोमवार से ऑफिस नहीं जा रही थी। | She had not been going to office since Monday. |
