Past Perfect Continuous Tense - Interrogative And Interrogative-Negative की हिन्दी में पहचान: वाक्यों
के अन्त में 'रहा था', 'रही थी', 'रहे थे' का प्रयोग होता है और प्रश्नात्मक वाक्य के आरम्भ में 'क्या' का प्रयोग तथा प्रश्नात्मक और नकारात्मक वाक्य के बीच में 'नही' का प्रयोग भी आवश्यक है। Past Perfect Continuous Tense का उपयोग
उस कार्य को व्यक्त करने के लिए किया जाता है जो भूतकाल में शुरु हुआ था और भूतकाल के एक निश्चित समय तक जारी रहा था। इसमें लगातार समय का प्रयोग होता है।
प्रश्नात्मक वाक्य - 'Had' से शुरु होता है, 'Ing' को मुख्य क्रिया की फर्स्ट फॉर्म के साथ जोड़ते हैं और इसमें लगातार समय को दर्शाने के लिए 'since/for' का उपयोग करते हैं।
प्रश्नात्मक और नकारात्मक वाक्य - 'Had' से शुरु होता है। 'Not' को 'Been' से पहले लगाते हैं। वाक्य के अन्त में फुल स्टाप (.) के स्थान पर प्रश्नवाचक चिन्ह (?) लगाया जाता है।
दोनो प्रकार के वाक्य के अन्त में फुल स्टाप (.) के स्थान पर प्रश्नवाचक चिन्ह (?) लगाया जाता है।
Past Perfect Continuous Tense is used to express work that began in the past and continued for a certain time in
the past. Continuous time must come in the sentence.
Interrogative and Negative sentence -Starts with 'Had,
'Not' is added before 'Been', 'Ing' is added with the first form of the verb and 'since/for' is used to denote continuous
time. Question Mark (?) is affixed at the end of sentence in place of Full Stop (.).

| क्या कुछ बच्चे सुबह 10 बजे से एक-दूसरे से नहीं लड़ रहे थे? | Had a few children not been fighting with one another since 10 a.m.? |
| क्या वह तीन हफ्ते से नमकीन पानी की शिकायत नहीं कर रही थी? | Had she not been complaining of salty water for three weeks? |
| क्या वह पिछले 20 मिनट से अध्यात्म पर व्याख्यान दे रही थी? | Had she been delivering a lecture on spirituality for the last 20 minutes? |
| क्या हम इस वर्ष की शुरुआत से अपने गृह नगर की यात्रा करने की योजना नहीं बना रहे थे? | Had we not been planning to visit our home town since the beginning of this year? |
| क्या लोग बचपन से ही उन्हें भाषण देने के लिए आमंत्रित कर रहे थे? | Had people been inviting him to orate a speech since his childhood? |
| क्या मैं सुबह से उसके घर के बाहर उसकी सहमति का इंतजार कर रहा था? | Had I been waiting for her consent outside her home since morning? |
| क्या लड़कियां एक घंटे से लड़कों को छेड़ रही थीं? | Had the girls been teasing boys for an hour? |
| क्या वह शाम से पतंग उड़ा रही थी? | Had she been flying a kite since evening? |
| क्या वह शाम से कहानी-किताब नहीं पढ़ रहा था? | Had he not been reading the story-book since evening? |
| क्या उनका बेटा शादी के बाद से उनके साथ नहीं रह रहा था? | Had his son not been living with him since his marriage? |
| क्या वह पिछले तीन घंटे से राजनीति की बात कर रही थी? | Had she been talking about politics for the last three hours? |
| क्या मैं दोपहर से अपनी स्टडी टेबल की मरम्मत कर रहा था? | Had I been repairing my study table since noon? |
| क्या सैन्य विमान कल से छावनी क्षेत्र पर नहीं मंडरा रहे थे? | Had the military aircrafts not been hovering on the cantonment area since yesterday? |
