Condition Type-1
Let's look at the examples:
| यदि आप तेजी से भागते हैं, तो आप उसे पकड़ सकते हैं। | If you run fast, you could catch him. |
| यदि आप कक्षा में नियमित नहीं हैं, तो आप विषय कैसे सीखेंगे? | If you are not a regular in the class, how will you learn the subject? |
| यदि आप दैनिक अभ्यास नहीं करते हैं, तो आप धाराप्रवाह अंग्रेजी कैसे बोलेंगे? | If you do not practice daily, how will you speak English fluently? |
| अगर वह आपके खिलाफ शिकायत करती है, तो आपको जेल भेजा जा सकता है। | If she complains against you, you may be sent to jail. |
| अगर आप मेरे साथ हैं, तो मैं पूरे परिवार के गुस्से का सामना कर सकता हूं। | If you are with me, I can face the anger of the whole family. |
Note: 'If clause' का वाक्य भविष्य काल (गा, गे, गी) में समाप्त हो तब भी हम वर्तमान काल में इस बनाते हैं।
Condition Type-2
वर्तमान में हम जिन काल्पनिक स्थितियों की कल्पना करते हैं, उन्हें Conditional type-2 वाक्यों के रूप में जाना जाता है। वाक्य की संरचना इस तरह होती है " अगर ये हो / पास होता, तो वो हो जाता / वो हो पाता / वो कर देता।"
The hypothetical conditions we currently imagine are known as Conditional type-2 sentences. The structure of the sentence is like this "If it were, it would have been / could have been done” There are three parts of the Condition Type-2 sentences: (1) State of Being (2) State of Possession (3) Action
(1) State of Being...Imagination...अगर मैं ऐसा होता तो क्या होता
Rule: [If + Subject + were + Object], [Subject + Would/Could + Verb (1st form) + Object]
Note: 'Were' will come with all Subjects irrespective of their 1st/2nd/3rd Person and singular/plural Number.
Let's look at the examples:
| यदि मैं एक राजा होता, तो मैं तुम्हें जमीन का एक बड़ा टुकड़ा देता। | If I were a king, I would give you a big piece of land. |
| अगर मैं एक शिक्षक होता, तो मैं गरीब छात्रों को मुफ्त ट्यूशन देता। | If I were a teacher, I would provide free tuitions to poor students. |
| अगर वह मेरी बॉस होती, तो वह मेरी छुट्टी मंजूर नहीं करती। | If she were my boss, she would not sanction my leave. |
| अगर अद्वय भारत में होता, तो वह अपनी दादी की गोद में बैठना पसंद करता। | If Advay were in India, he would love to sit in his grandmother's lap. |
| यदि मैं एक वकील होता, तो मैं उसके मामले की ठीक से पैरवी नहीं कर पाता। | If I were a lawyer, I could not advocate her case properly. |
| अगर मैं भारत का प्रधानमंत्री होता, तो मैं वरिष्ठ नागरिकों को अधिकतम राहत दे रहा होता। | If I were the Prime Minister of India, I would be giving maximum reliefs to senior citizens. |
| यदि वह प्रबंधक होता, तो सीमा हम सब पर हावी होती। | If he were the Manager, Seema would dominate us all. |
| अगर वह पुलिस कमिश्नर होती, तो सभी अपराधी जेल में होते। | If she were the police commissioner, all criminals would be in jail. |
