What is an Adjective (विशेषण)?
वह शब्द जो किसी Noun या Pronoun के अर्थ में कुछ जोड़ता है, एक विशेषण है। विशेषण एक संज्ञा या सर्वनाम की विशेषताओं का वर्णन करता है।
यह एक संज्ञा या सर्वनाम की गुणवत्ता, स्थिति, आकार, रंग, मात्रा, विशेषता, क्रिया आदि का वर्णन करता है।
जैसे - स्मार्ट लड़का, सुंदर लड़की, काला कुत्ता, मजबूत आधार, अच्छी सलाह।
पहले शब्द 'स्मार्ट', 'सुंदर', 'काला', 'मजबूत', 'अच्छी' विशेषण हैं जो उनके संबंधित संज्ञा शब्दों के बारे में बता रहे हैं।
The word that adds something to the meaning of a Noun or Pronoun is an Adjective. The adjective describes the attributes of a
Noun or Pronoun. It describes the quality, state, size, colour, quantity, characteristic, action, etc. of a Noun or Pronoun.
e.g. smart boy, beautiful girl, black dog, strong base, good advice. First words 'smart', 'beautiful', 'black', 'strong', 'good'
are Adjectives which are describing their respective noun words.
जब हम संज्ञा या सर्वनाम के बारे में एक प्रश्न पूछते हैं, तो विशेषण वह शब्द है जो संज्ञा या सर्वनाम की विशेषताओं का वर्णन करता है। एक संज्ञा या सर्वनाम के लिए एक से अधिक विशेषण का उपयोग एक वाक्य में भी किया जा सकता है।
When we ask a question about a noun or pronoun, the Adjective is the word that describes the attributes of the noun or pronoun. More than one Adjective for a noun or pronoun can also be used in a sentence.
