Uses of 'The'

Look at the following to understand the use of Article - 'The'

19	हम 'The' का उपयोग उस चीज से पहले करते हैं जो विशिष्ट या विशेष है।	We use 'The' before the thing which is specific or particular.
	Examples: That is the house. The girl standing in the first row.
20	हम समुदाय, जातियों से पहले 'The' का इस्तेमाल करते हैं।	We use 'The' before community, castes
	Examples: The English (अंग्रेज लोग), The Hindus (हिंदू लोग), The French
21	आम तौर पर हम किसी भी देश या व्यक्ति के नाम से पहले 'The' का उपयोग नहीं करते हैं। हम ऐसे देशों के नाम से पहले 'The' का इस्तेमाल करते हैं, जो एकजुट हैं।	Normally we do not use 'The' before the name of any country or person. We use 'The' before the name of such countries which are united.
	Examples: The UK, The USA, The UAE.

Look at the examples:

अकबर एक महान राजा था।	Akbar was a great king.
बांए रहो।	Keep to the left.
भाड़ में जाओ।	Go to hell.
भारत का बिलगेट कौन बनने जा रहा है?	Who is going to be the Bill Gate of India?
कश्मीर भारत का स्विटज़रलैंड है।	Kashmir is the Switzerland of India.
क्या बात है?	What is the matter?
क्या डाकिया मेरा पत्र ले आया?	Has the postman brought my letter?
मैं बिस्तर पर बैठा।	I sat on the bed.
मैं बिस्तर पर लेटा।	I lay on the bed.
मैंने तुम्हें चर्च के नजदीक पाया।	I found you near the church.
मैंने तुम्हें सेंट् पॉल चर्च के नजदीक पाया।	I found you near St. Paul Church.
मतलब की बात करो।	Come to the point.
सूर्य पश्चिम में अस्त होता है।	The Sun sets in the west.
