Preposition
दो वस्तुओं के मध्य संबंध बताने वाले शब्द को Preposition कहते हैं। Main Prepositions के मुख्य अर्थ व उदाहरण नीचे दिए गए हैं:-
On - के उपर (जब कोई चीज़ स्पर्श करे)
| My laptop is on the table. | मेरा लैपटॉप टेबल पर है। |
| Your watch is on the chair. | आपकी घड़ी कुर्सी पर है। |
Over - के उपर (जब कोई चीज़ न स्पर्श करे)
| The bee is flying over your head. | मधुमक्खी आपके सिर के ऊपर से उड़ रही है। |
| I am walking on the bridge and the bridge is over the river. | मैं पुल पर चल रहा हूं और पुल नदी के ऊपर है। |
In - में
| We are sitting in the party hall. | हम पार्टी हॉल में बैठे हैं। |
| The bride is still in the parlour. | दुल्हन पार्लर में है। |
Into - में (जब कोई चीज़ किसी में घुस जाए)
| The diver jumped into the river. | गोताखोर नदी में कूद गया। |
| The thieves entered into the house at midnight. | चोर आधी रात को घर में घुस गए। |
Within - के अंदर
| He shall complete the task within two hours. | वह दो घंटे के भीतर कार्य पूरा करेगा। |
| My bank has passed the loan within two days. | मेरे बैंक ने दो दिनों के भीतर लोन पास कर दिया है। |
Under - के नीचे
| Advay is hiding under the table. | अद्वय टेबल के नीचे छिप रहा है। |
| He is learning swimming under your supervision. | वह आपकी देखरेख में तैराकी सीख रहा है। |
Of - का, के, की
| Vedika is the sister of Avyan and Advay. | वेदिका, अव्यन और अद्वय की बहन है। |
| Kanika is a member of a top dancing school. | कनिका एक टॉप डांसिंग स्कूल की सदस्य हैं। |
Off - संबंध विच्छेद, रिश्तों का टूटना
| Switch off the gyeser. | Gyeser का स्विच बंद करें |
| He took off his hat. | He took off his hat. |
