Degree
Superlative Degree :- सुपर्लेटिव डिग्री सबसे उत्तम अवस्था होती है। इसमें दो या दो से अधिक संज्ञाओं (व्यक्ति, स्थान या चीज़ों) की तुलना की जाती है और किसी
एक को सबसे उत्तम या घटिया बताया जाता है।
Superlative डिग्री में Adjective के साथ 'est' लगाया जाता है या पहले Most का प्रयोग करते हैं तथा Adjective से पहले 'the' लगाना आवश्यक है।

| Avyan is the most favourite student of his class teacher. | अव्यन अपनी क्लास टीचर का सबसे पसंदीदा छात्र है। |
| I will be the richest member in our family. | मैं हमारे परिवार में सबसे अमीर सदस्य बनूंगा। |
| He is the most corrupt person in our office. | वह हमारे कार्यालय का सबसे भ्रष्ट व्यक्ति है। |
Use of More & Most :- उपर आपने देखा Comparative डिग्री में 'more' और Superlative डिग्री में 'most' शब्द का प्रयोग हुआ है।
जब किसी शब्द में एक से ज़्यादा 'Syllables' आए तब 'more या most' का प्रयोग होता है।
Syllable का अर्थ है एक शब्द का उतना भाग जितना कि एक बार में बोला जाए अर्थात जिस शब्द को बोलते समय तोड़ा जा सके
या मध्य में अल्पविराम दिया जा सके या वह शब्द एक ही स्वर में ना बोला जा सकता हो उनसे पहले 'more या most' लगता है जैसे 'intelligent' को बोलने के लिए एक बार में 'intelli' कह कर क्षणिक विराम के बाद 'gent' कह
सकते हैं अर्थात शब्द को तोड़ कर या बीच में अल्पविराम देकर बोल सकते हैं लेकिन 'bold' के मध्य विराम देकर बोलना संभव नही है। नीचे दिए उदाहरण इसे और स्पष्ट कर रहे हैं:
