Superlative Degree to Positive Degree
Superlative Degree : Neha is the most polite girl of her class. नेहा अपनी कक्षा की सबसे विनम्र लड़की है।
Positive Degree : No other girl of her class is as polite as Neha. उसकी क्लास की कोई दूसरी लड़की नेहा की तरह विनम्र नहीं है।
Superlative Degree : ATF is the the purest form of petroleum products. एटीएफ पेट्रोलियम उत्पादों का शुद्धतम रूप है।
Positive Degree : No other form of petroleum product is as pure as ATF. पेट्रोलियम उत्पाद का कोई अन्य रूप एटीएफ जितना शुद्ध नहीं है।
Info: ATF is the fuel of the airplanes. एटीएफ हवाई जहाज का ईंधन है।
Rule :- Superlative डिग्री को Positive डिग्री में बदलने का नियम:
No other + Superlative Degree के बाद का शेष वाक्य + Verb + as...as (positive degree of Adjective) + Subject (.)
Note -
1. Superlative डिग्री के नेगेटिव वाक्य को Positive डिग्री में बदलते समय 'no other' के स्थान पर 'some other' का प्रयोग करते हैं।
2. Superlative डिग्री में 'no other' के बाद Noun हमेशा Singular रहता है।
3. Superlative डिग्री के वाक्य में यदि 'one of the...' का प्रयोग हो तो Positive डिग्री में बदलते समय 'few/very few' का प्रयोग करते हैं।

| वह समिति का सबसे सुस्त सदस्य हैं। | समिति का कोई अन्य सदस्य उतना सुस्त नहीं है जितना कि वह। |
| Mumbai is the best seaport in India. | No other seaport in India is as good as Mumbai. |
| मुंबई भारत का सबसे अच्छा बंदरगाह है। | भारत में कोई अन्य बंदरगाह मुंबई जैसा अच्छा नहीं है। |
| Rajasthan is not the hottest state of India. | Some other states in India are probably as hot as Rajasthan. |
| राजस्थान भारत का सबसे गर्म राज्य नहीं है। | भारत के कुछ अन्य राज्य शायद राजस्थान की तरह गर्म हैं। |
| The Godavari river is not the longest river in India. | Some other rivers in India are at least as long as the Godavari river. |
| गोदावरी नदी भारत की सबसे लंबी नदी नहीं है। | भारत में कुछ अन्य नदी कम से कम गोदावरी नदी के समान हैं। |
| The Godavari river is not the longest river in India. | The Godavari river is perhaps not as long as some other rivers in India. |
| गोदावरी नदी भारत की सबसे लंबी नदी नहीं है। | गोदावरी नदी शायद उतनी लंबी नहीं है, जितनी भारत की कुछ अन्य नदियाँ। |
| Ashok Kumar is one of the best actors of India. | Very few artists in India are as good as Ashok Kumar. |
| अशोक कुमार भारत के सर्वश्रेष्ठ अभिनेताओं में से एक हैं। | भारत के बहुत कम अभिनेता इतने अच्छे हैं जितने अशोक कुमार हैं। |
